Customer Service & Social Media

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Customer Service Representative to help us connect and communicate with our customers, as well as connect on a social media platform. This job requires wearing a couple different hats, and a total expected contribution of hours of all the jobs will be 40 hours per week. This hourly position is at our office located in Edina, MN

For the Customer Service role, we are looking for an extremely organized self starter, to help us interact with and create a bridge with our customers as a liason for our company, and product.  That involves handling efficiently and effectively any problems/issues that might arise in a timely manner.  This position also requires a strong background in social media. The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically embracing all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. In the customer service role, the target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.

  • Effectively manage email communication within three accounts
  • Process incoming phone orders
  • Quickly identify, fix and communicate any order changes to the team
  • Identify and assess customersí needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Answering emails quickly.  The trust of our customers is highly important, and quickly dealing with their issues keeps that trust high
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

Social Media Responsibilities

  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) so that it builds meaningful connections and encourages sharing, and/or sales
  • Transcribe Facebook Live videos
  • Set up and optimize company groups within each platform to increase the visibility of companyís social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create social media group calendars and sharing schedules
  • Continuously strive to improve the company by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information


  • Proven work experience in social media or related field, we like examples
  • Prior experience in customer service
  • Track record of over-achieving
  • Excellent note taking and active listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • BA, or BS in Communications, Marketing, Business is preferred, but we will consider those with at least three years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree

We have several operations including manufacturing, wholesale accounts, retail sales, multiple websites and soon a brand new retail location! 


Main Responsibilities:

Managing employee schedules, as well as daily tasks and time.

Learn current procedures and methods, then make them better and develop new ones.

Hiring new employees.

Work with executives/owners on day to day tasks and long term projects.

Become familiar enough with all jobs that you can step in and help at need, and answer questions helpfully.

Manage our online store sales and employees.

Manage and administrate our retail & wholesale websites.

Manage and administrate our Amazon store.

Inventory management between our manufacturing, wholesale and retail operations including raw goods and finished product.



4 year degree preferred.



At least 2+ years management.

You must be fluent in Microsoft Office, and an Excel wizard.

Must be very comfortable with task management software, email, instant messaging (Lync), online shopping/retail, and computers and the internet in general.
